A Few Words from Father John

Father John: Good morning. I am Father John. I just want to say a few words.

Light and darkness are part of each other. In the long run, everything is light. But darkness is a—Aaron, what is the word? I started to say “opposite,” and he said no, there are not opposites. Darkness is simply a continuation of the light running off into a distance in which it loses its ability to offer light.

So many who come here have felt themselves shifted into that kind of darkness, or let’s say semi-darkness, not pure darkness, but drifting out of that center of the light, so they forget that they are light. Our work is to remind them: you are light. It seems as humans you have to remember that truth over and over again before it finally takes deeply and you cease to forget.

The Mother and I do not create the light. That’s already in you and all around you. We brush away the cobwebs so that you can remember the light more fully.

As people come through the line, remember that each of them has been drifting around with a veil that has obscured the light, some just to a small degree and some much more. For each of them, you are opening the way—Aaron is correcting me again. Aaron says, they are not opening; the way opens by itself. I’m channeling Aaron! He is far more articulate with the nuances of your language. They are not opening the way; the way is opening by itself. What they are doing is holding the way open so the light is not obscured.

So in order to do that, to hold the way open, each of your work as you sit here is to rest in the place of clearest light in yourself; to do your meditation practice in the ways that help you not to get caught in the veil and its stories, but to center again and again in the light, even minute by minute, if needed. Just hold the light and love that is your essence, and with the willingness to breathe in that light and pass it on, breathe it in and pass it on, so all beings may benefit.

I cannot do this work alone. The Mother cannot do this work alone. It needs all of you carriers of the light, rememberers of the light. Thank you for being here and helping us to reflect that light, to hold that space.
